We are in the Alliance Area of Western DFW, and we are seeking to find an enthusiastic Supply Chain Professional to join our team.  No career or industry experience is required.  We are looking for a fresh set of eyes; a recent college graduate or college senior would be preferred.  While no experience is required, a thorough understanding of the function of a supply chain and understanding of business theory is mandatory.  This position can be an internship or full-time position dependent on candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Improve the efficiency of supply chain practices to improve price and performance
• Negotiate with vendors for price, terms and lead times of products
• Create purchase orders to fulfill customer orders and inventory demands
• Manage vendor performance
• Work with Production to maintain an accurate and efficient inventory
• Seek out and establish new vendors

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, or currently in pursuit of a college degree
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite mandatory

Compensation Full-time:

• $40-45k a year salary experience dependent
