Since 1996, LinkUp International has provided professional sales and distribution services to the railway industry.  Since that time, our capabilities have expanded to include engineering, manufacturing and a wide variety of railway products and equipment.  LinkUp presently serves all seven Class I railroads along with various other industries.

We are expanding and looking for a talented Press Brake Operator to join our team. This position is with Velocity Metalworks, a LinkUp Holdings' company and will be responsible for the following duties: 

  • Set-up and operate CNC sheet metal press brakes
  • Look at blueprints or plans for the finished product
  • Make adjustments to the machines to ensure they are set-up properly, working well, and producing a quality product
  • Examine the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production
  • Create and edit machine CNC programs
  • Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, specifications, and/or work instructions to form parts per customer requirements

Minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • General manufacturing experience
  • Experience in setup and operation of CNC press brakes and having a working knowledge of press brake tooling and commonly formed materials i.e.: steel, aluminum, stainless, titanium, and some plastics is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to inspect formed parts for accuracy to specifications

Compensation:

This is a full-time position with an hourly wage dependent upon experience.
